What is the Early Years Foundation Stage?

The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) sets out the learning and development stages for children as they grow from birth to five years. For children in early years education, the EYFS outlines what staff will do to support your child.

The EYFS asserts that children learn and develop through playing, exploring, being active, creative and being asked questions to help their thinking.

We will keep you regularly updated with your child's progress throughout the year.
